Did you take a 3 hour lactulose breath test and get a flatline?
There are a number of reasons why this could have happened, but assuming you did your test prep diet and did the test correctly… one reason your test came back with a flatline is Hydrogen Sulfide.
If you are having a number of the usual suspects, as far as hydrogen sulfide SIBO symptoms go, (scroll down further for a list of common H2S symptoms)… And have a flat line test in hand, don’t settle for hearing “you are negative for SIBO” from your doctor. Get the help you deserve and find a practitioner who knows how to read these tests results.
Common hydrogen sulfide SIBO symptoms :
Gas
Bloating
“Gurgly belly”
Urgent diarrhea
Constipation or slow transit time
